PRINCE2 Foundation provides the theoretical knowledge of how to plan, manage and deliver projects from start to finish.
The Foundation Level certification introduces the PRINCE2 method and aims to confirm that you know and understand the PRINCE2 method well enough to be able to work effectively with, or as a member of, a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2.
PRINCE2 Practitioner is the advanced level of certification that confirms sufficient understanding of how to tailor and implement PRINCE2 in a project.

This certification is aimed at current and aspiring project managers or professionals who manage projects. It is also relevant to other key staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects, including: Project Board members (e.g. Senior Responsible Owners), Team Managers (e.g. Product Delivery Managers), Project Assurance (e.g. Business Change Analysts), Project Support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel) and operational line managers or staff.

Delegates should have some understanding of Project Management but there is no formal pre-requisite for the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification.

For the ‘missing word’ questions, there is a sentence with a word missing and you have to select the missing word from four options. You should read the ‘Project Scenario’ which gives background information about the project that the questions apply to. For at least one question, you will also need to use the ‘Additional Information’ which gives information about people who may be working on the project. |

The PRINCE2 Practitioner certification will expire after 3 years. In order to maintain your qualification and ensure there are no gaps in your Practitioner status, you can either retake the PRINCE2 Practitioner Exam before the expiry date or maintain your certification through CPD points and a digital badge.
